Salman Khan's father, Salim Khan, has addressed the recent incident involving gunfire outside Galaxy Apartment.
As reported by CNN News 18, the 88-year-old screenwriter has confirmed the safety of the family and labeled the event as a mere "publicity stunt" orchestrated by unidentified individuals.
He said, “There is nothing to tell. They just want publicity, there is no need to worry.”
On Sunday morning, April 15, 2024, two unidentified individuals riding a motorcycle discharged multiple rounds outside the Mumbai residence of Salman in Bandra. authorities have initiated a comprehensive investigation.
As per the reports, the incident took place around 5 am, resulting in no reported injuries.
Law enforcement sources identified one of the individuals captured on CCTV as Vishal, also known as Kalu, a gunman associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Soon after the firing incident occurred, a Facebook post purportedly attributed to Anmol Bishnoi, the younger sibling of incarcerated gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, takes credit for the shooting.
He labeled the event outside the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star's Galaxy Apartment as a "first and last warning."
The Deputy Commissioner of Police, told to the publication, “Two unknown persons came on a motorbike and fired rounds outside actor Salman Khan’s house around 5 am and escaped. Around 4-5 rounds were fired."
"We have formed 15 police teams to probe the matter. We are investigating the case from all angles. We will certainly nab the shooters soon.”
