Karan Johar labeled Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff's film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan as "festive bonanza" and expressed his excitement about watching Ajay Devgn in Maidaan.
Taking to his Instagram account on Friday, April 12, the 51-year-old Bollywood filmmaker extended his support and compliments to the recently released films, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan.
The Bombay Velvet director shared a poster of Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff starrer, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and penned, “A must watch festive bonanza! With action on the highest and hugest level! The 2 miyas make for a rocking duo!!! @akshaykumar @tigerjackieshroff @jackie_bhagnani @aliabbaszafar.”
Moreover, he shared a poster of Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan, and wrote, “Have heard the most incredible things about MAIDAAN!! I also can’t wait to watch what is universally touted as @ajaydevgn’s career best performance! @iamitrsharma @boney.kapoor @zeestudiosofficial.”
The film Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, directed by Ali Abbas Zafar was released on April 10, 2024. The movie garnered INR 15.5 crore on it's opening day.
While Maidaan was also released on the same date, earning INR 7 crore on it's debut day.
