Boney Kapoor opens up about Sridevi's dreams for Khushi and Janhvi Kapoor

Boney Kapoor disclosed that his late wife, Sridevi had different aspirations for daughters Khushi and Janhvi, envisioning their weddings instead of acting careers.

During an interview with News18’s Showsha, the 68-year-old film producer revealed that Sridevi frequently discussed their children's weddings.

Boney also mentioned that Sridevi, like any other mother, would attend weddings and afterward discuss her daughters' wedding day, saying, "She never desired for any of our daughters to pursue acting careers."

The Maidaan producer said, "She imagined Janhvi and Khushi getting married. Whenever we would attend a wedding, Sridevi and I would draw inspirations from the wedding and think that this is how we would get Janhvi also married. She wished for Janhvi to find a nice boy."

Furthermore, Boney revealed that during Sridevi's lifetime, they never envisioned their daughters pursuing acting careers but they envisaged them choosing other professions.

He said, "We never thought they would grow up to become actresses. We thought Janhvi would become a doctor or something. One day she suddenly came up to Sridevi and said, ‘I want to act.’) This is when Dhadak happened."
