Nicki Minaj, Kenneth Petty take their toddler to see the Knicks
Nicki Minaj and Kenneth Penny were recently ruled against in an assault lawsuit
Nicki Minaj is introducing her son to the world of basketball early, particularly as a New York Knicks fan.
The Queen of Rap spent her Easter Sunday at the New York Knicks game with her husband Kenneth Petty and their three-year-old son, Papa Bear.
While en route to the game, she posted to her social media, “I’m headed to the game. Few mins away. Who winning so far, y’all? Let’s go baby!!”
Born Onika Tanya Maraj, the 41-year-old rapper was spotted sitting courtside at the Madison Square Garden with her family of three, with Papa Bear perched on her lap.
Throughout the game, Minaj enthusiastically cheered on the team, with Papa Bear following her lead and reacting to the game's twists and turns.
During the star-studded event, Papa Bear was also seen interacting with other Hollywood A-Listers, including Ben Stiller who was sitting next to them.
The outing comes on the heels of legal trouble as the couple faces a lawsuit filed by security guard Thomas Weidenmuller.
According to TMZ, Thomas alleged that he was assaulted by Kenneth during Nicki's concert in Germany on March 22, 2019.
With no response from Nicki and Kenneth, the court issued a default judgment, ordering them to pay half a million dollars to Thomas.
