Kareena Kapoor heaps praise on 'Jab We Met' iconic character 'Geet'
Kareena Kapoor reveals why people still find her iconic character Geet 'relatable'
Kareena Kapoor opened up about the long-lasting impact of her 2007 rom-com Jab We Met, featuring Shahid Kapoor as the male lead.
In conversation with Ranveer Allahabadia, the Bollywood diva shared that even after so many years, the audience finds her iconic character, Geet, relatable.
Recently, Kareena and Shahid's blockbuster movie was re-released in cinemas in the wake of Valentine's Day.
While recalling her fans' reactions, the actress shared that viewers were reciting every dialogue of the film's characters.
Speaking of Geet, Kareena said, "This longevity is because she did everything and thought so much from her heart. People in today’s world think from their brains which is important at times but Geet always thought from her heart you don’t see even in the Gen Zs."
She added, "I feel so that’s how somehow they are connecting that they also want to be like that, but somehow people are thinking a lot more with their mind in the 2020s."
On the professional front, Kareena has been busy promoting her upcoming film Crew, starring Tabu and Kriti Sanon in lead roles.
