Sara Ali Khan discussed her future aspirations regarding a potential career in politics.
In an interview with Anubhav Singh Bassi for Netflix India, the 28-year-old actress opened up about whether she would consider entering politics "down the line."
During a rapid fire round, Sara was questioned, "Down the line, Sara Ali Khan wants to join politics?" to which, the Love Aaj Kal actress responded affirmatively, saying, "Yes, she does."
Meanwhile, in an older interview with Hindustan Times, Sara shared, “I have a degree in history and political science so I want to pursue politics maybe later in life, but it’s not a backup plan."
"I am not leaving and if people will give me the opportunity to be here (Bollywood), I will be here for as long I can,” she added.
On the professional front, Sara was last seen in Muder Mubarak and Ae Watan Mere Watan.
She is now gearing up for her upcoming Anurag Basu's project Metro... In Dino, described as a spiritual successor to Life... In a Metro.
