Karan Johar celebrates mother Hiroo Johar's birthday with sweet tribute

Karan Johar paid a heartfelt tribute to his mother, Hiroo Johar, on the occasion of her birthday.

On March 18, the renowned Bollywood filmmaker took to Instagram and shared two adorable photos in honour of his mothers's special day.

The first photo featured Johar planting a sweet kiss on his mom's cheek. Meanwhile, in the second photo, the director's kids, Yash and Roohi, were seen posing with their granny.

He wrote, "Mothers are a force of nature…. They take unconditional love to a level that is almost unreal…."

Johar added, "I am blessed to have a mother who grounded me and made me believe that professional achievements don’t define us … our behaviour does…"

"She made me believe that goodness is more important than ambition and that if I am in the right or am correct in a circumstance or situation then there doesn’t need to be a battle…. Patience will give me the eventual validation….," the director said. 

Johar concluded his caption, "Love you Mom and happy birthday … thank you for bringing me into this world and also becoming my world…"
