Kate Middleton, Prince William issue statement on St. Patrick's Day
Princess Kate will be honoured at St. Patrick's Day parade during recovery from abdominal surgery
Princess Kate and Prince William extended greetings of St. Patrick's Day to all their fans on social media.
On March 17, the official Instagram page of the Prince and Princess of Wales shared a few glimpses of Irish Guards rehearsing for the parade.
The official statement by the royal couple reads, "Happy St Patrick’s Day!"
"Here’s a sneak peek of the @irishguards rehearsing for their annual parade. Sláinte to all those celebrating today!"
Earlier, it was reported by People that Catherine, who is recovering at home from her abdominal surgery, will be honoured by three cheers at the St Patrick’s Day parade.
This statement came amid a drama surrounding Catherine's Mother's Day photo with her children.
For the unversed, Kate's first picture following her abdominal surgery and rising conspiracies about her medical condition turned out to be ‘manipulated’ by top international photo agencies.
Later on, the Princess of Wales issued an apology, admitting that she had edited the shared photo.
