'Philanthropist' Meghan Markle called out for launching 'luxury' brand
The Duchess of Sussex's brand 'isn’t going to resonate' with the public, claims a PR expert
Meghan Markle, who often speaks for the rights of the underprivileged, called out for launching her luxury lifestyle brand.
For the unversed, the Duchess of Sussex made a surprising return to Instagram as she announced her new business venture, American Riviera Orchard, on Thursday, March 14, 2024.
As per Guardian, the former working royal's brand possibly includes "cookbooks, tableware, linens, a range of spreads and preserves including jellies, jams and nut butters."
Speaking of Meghan's latest career move, PR expert Lynn Carratt told The Mirror that her "brand isn’t going to resonate" with the public.
While analysing the former Suit's actress video for her brand, the expert said, "Who has a luxury kitchen like that in their home? And you also have to ask how much the products are going to cost as it’s unlikely they’ll be affordable."
Lynn slammed Meghan for "one minute she is championing the underprivileged and then the next minute standing in your luxury kitchen wearing designer togs and selling luxury homemade products."
