Henry Cavill will reportedly make his MCU debut in the upcoming Deadpool 3
Henry Cavill is reportedly eyeing to fill in the shoes of Hugh Jackman as one of the variants of Wolverine.
Speculations went rife about the actor’s role in the Marvel Cinematic Universe after a tipster revealed that he had accepted a mystery role in the superhero franchise last month.
Now, another tipster, who goes by username @CanWeGetToast on X, formerly Twitter, confirmed that the Witcher star will appear in the upcoming installment of Deadpool 3 as variant of the Beta level mutant.
“Fans will be very pleased with his appearance,” they teased.
Cavill is no stranger to superhero films; the 40-year-old actor played Superman for ten years in the DC Extended Universe.
He also played the supernatural character of Geralt of Rivia in Netflix hit series, The Witcher for three seasons. The actor has since been replaced by Liam Hemsworth for the upcoming seasons.
Henry was also tipped to play formidable Marvel villain Doctor Doom in Fantastic Four by journalist Matt Reeves at the time rumours of his MCU debut began swirling.
Fans poured in their respective guesses for the perfect role for the Enola Holmes star with many inclining towards Captain Britain.
