Ajay Devgn's son Yug 'heartbroken' over Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama's demise

Fans worldwide are grieving the loss of Akira Toriyama, the creator of the popular Japanese series Dragon Ball, who passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024 due to an acute subdural hematoma at the age of 68.
Bollywood star, Ajay Devgn's son Yug is among those saddened by the news, as the 54-year-old actor shared that his son is "heartbroken".
Taking to his X account, the Singham actor penned, “Watching Yug heartbroken makes me feel like if we held all the Dragon Balls, bringing back Akira Toriyama would be our heartfelt wish. He remains a Super Saiyan of inspiration whose legacy influence generations. Rest in POWER, Akira Toriyama (crown emoji).”
Moreover, Akira's invention, Dragon Ball, is still one of the most prosperous media franchises ever.
The manga has sold over 260 million copies globally and has led to numerous anime series, video games, and even a live-action movie.
On the work front, Ajay's latest film Shaitaan released in theaters on March 8, 2024.
The film directed by Vikas Bahl, this supernatural thriller stars Ajay Devgn, Jyotika, and R Madhavan.
Since it's release, the film has garnered positive reviews from critics and is doing well financially at the box office.
