The Indian playback singer, Udit Narayan opened up about his experience on performing at the pre-wedding festivities of billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, which occurred from March 1 to March 3, 2024 in Jamnagar, Gujrat.
During an exclusive interview with the Hindustan Times, the 68-year-old singer expressed gratitude for the opportunity of performing at the pre-wedding event of Anant and Radhika, where he took the stage for 20-minutes.
The Tum Mere Ho vocalist told, “It was the pre-wedding of the country's biggest and richest person.”
Udit also talked about collaborating with music director Pritam Chakraborty and being among several other artists present in Jamnagar saying, “It was a first opportunity for me.”
Mentioning about the tracks he performed during the event, the singer revealed that he practiced five of his hit songs and said that he, "Sang only 2-3 lines.”
Moreover, Udit also unveiled that he received love from Anant Ambani, saying, “They are such an influential people, so the event would be grand as well. Even I got the opportunity. I've heard that Anant Ambani really loves me.”
The extravagant pre-wedding celebrations of Anant and Radhika, was attended by many B-town and international celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and many others.
