Lindsay Lohan gives rare insight into 'Freaky Friday' sequel
'Freaky Friday' famed duo Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan to share screen in the comedy film's sequel
Lindsay Lohan expressed her excitement to share the screen with her former co-star Jamie Lee Curtis on the sequel of Freaky Friday.
In conversation with People, the Mean Girls alum shared that she is "just excited to work with Jamie again and see how much further we can take it."
Speaking of the possible sequel, Lohan added that the upcoming film's script is still "in the process."
Lohan added, "Because we talk almost every other day in general, so I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this."
Earlier in November 2022, Curtis also expressed her desire to share the screen with Lohan in part 2 of their 2003 comedy film.
In conversation with People, the Academy Award winner said, "There would be nothing I would love more, honestly, than to be able to work with her again, share our time again..."
Directed by Mark Waters, the Disney movie featured Curtis as a mother named Tess Coleman who didn’t get along with her daughter Lohan (Anna Coleman).
Later, in a result of an unusual incident, the two switched their bodies and live each other’s life forcefully.
