TLC’s Chilli welcomes grand-motherhood at age of 53

TLC’s Chilli has become a grandmother.

The TLC member, with the real name Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas’ son Tron Austin, made his mother a grandma welcoming first child with his wife Jeong Ah Wang.

Austin revealed the news of giving birth to a daughter named Lua on Saturday on Instagram.

“We are officially parents!!” he shared in an Instagram post with a heartwarming picture of him, Wang and their new born daughter.

Austin, 26, also revealed that the newborn was due to be born on March 6 but “wanted to come sooner.”

He reflected on the tension of taking his wife to the hospital, which took them an hour and a half to drive.

“She went into an emergency C-section at 1 p.m. our nerves were high and our anxiety was through the roof,” he continued. “Despite all of that she powered through and gave birth to a healthy beautiful baby girl!!”

Audstin added, “I am so beyond proud of her bravery and courage to do this so off guard we literally expected 3 more days but God always has his plan first! Eternally grateful to say we have officially started our family! This is a dream come true.”

Austin concluded by reflecting on future endeavours with his wife, “Life’s journey has now truly begun!!!.”
