Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover have patched things up and joined forces for a new show on Netflix called The Great Indian Kapil Show.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, Kapil, Netflix and the show's team shared a promo, featuring Sunil, along with other familiar faces like Archana Puran Singh, Kiku Sharda, Rajiv Thakur, and Krushna Abhishek.
The latest promo depicts Kapil and his team discussing ways to promote their new show, considering using a banner at the Gateway of India.
Rajiv, though, dampens their spirits by mentioning that having Sunil on board has significantly impacted their promotion budget.
While Sunil makes his entrance dressed in a suit and sunglasses, exuding the aura of a superstar.
The post was captioned, “ The path to your home goes through laughter (Aapke ghar ka raasta, hasee se hokar jaata hai.) The Great Indian Kapil Show arrives at 8PM every Saturday from 30 March, only on Netflix..”
Rumors of the duo's fight emerged when they were reportedly on a flight, with Kapil confronting Sunil while allegedly intoxicated.
As soon as the promo released, fans expressed their excitement about seeing the duo reunite in the comment section.
One fan exclaimed, “whaaaaatttttttt!! Grover is back? My goodness,” while another penned, Kapil sharma plus Krishna plus sunil grover Its like Avengers assembled.”
Discussing about the show, Kapil explained at a event, “Finding our new home at Netflix has been one of the best things to have happened to us. And like we mentioned previously as well, just our house has changed not the family.”
“We are excited and all geared up to entertain our fans not just in India, but across the globe. Dil thaam ke baithiye, as we present to you, The Great Indian Kapil Show, from 30 March only on Netflix.”
