Vicky Kaushal to portray villain in 'Animal Park' opposite Ranbir Kapoor?

Actor Vicky Kaushal is reportedly set to portray the role of villain opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the sequel to Animal.

In December, the makers confirmed the second installment of the Ranbir Kapoor-led film, Animal.

According to a report by Instant Bollywood, the 35-year-old actor is set to play the villain in the sequel titled Animal Park, as the director of the film, Sandeep Reddy Vanga, approached him for the role.

The post was captioned as, "As per report, Vicky Kaushal is being considered for a negative role in ‘Animal Park’, a dark thriller starring Ranbir Kapoor, sequel to blockbuster Animal."

"The film, which is being directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga , will feature Ranbir in a double role."

In the previous film, the antagonist's brother, who resembles Ranbir and works as a butcher, plans to seek revenge for his brother's death.

However, there hasn't been any official confirmation from the filmmakers yet.

Animal was a major hit in 2023, earning over Rs 500 crore in India after its release on December 1.

The film also starred Triptii Dimri, Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor, Shakti Kapoor, and Prem Chopra.
