For the extravagant Indian pre-wedding celebrations, which is starting from March 1, 2024, of Billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, many celebrities from India and beyond are converging at the wedding location in Jamnagar, Gujrat.
Among the high-profile attendees are the team of Hollywood singing sensation Rihanna, who is set to perform at the pre-wedding celebration, with videos circulating on the internet showing their numerous luggages as they have reached the location.
Moreover, Bollywood celebrities such as Ranbir Kapoor with his family including Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, as well as Salman Khan, Arjun Kapoor, and many others also arrived.
Indian media outlets shared the arrival videos of all of them.
For the unversed, Anant and Radhika, who is the younger daughter of businessman Viren Merchant and entrepreneur Shaila Merchant, began their love story as childhood friends and are now preparing to exchange vows.
Providing insight into their choice of location for the pre-wedding festivities, Anant recently hinted at the reasoning.
During a recent interview with the India Today on the episode of Jab We Met, Anant discussed his idea of a "perfect" date with his soon-to-be wife Radhika Merchant.
He said, "I have grown up here, and it's my good fortune that we could plan the celebration here. This is my dadi's janm bhoomi (grandmother’s birthplace) and my dada and papa's karm bhoomi (my grandfather and father’s workplace). It's a matter of pride and happiness when our PM said that one should get married in India. And this is my home.”
