Shahid Kapoor once 'felt happy' for ex Kareena Kapoor Khan

Shahid Kapoor recently crossed paths with his ex Kareena Kapoor Khan at the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Awards 2024 on Tuesday.

Following this event, Shahid's interview with the Hindustan Times from 2016 resurfaced, in which he recalled a pleasant encounter with a pregnant Kareena during an event.

The 42-year-old actor said at that time, “Yes, I did bump into her and it was heartwarming to see her fully pregnant, because I’ve just been through that experience of having a baby.”

“I felt happy for her. I asked her when she was due, and she told me it is sometime next month. She also asked about Misha. So it was very nice,” the Kabir Singh actor added.

Shahid further revealed that he talked with his Jab We Met co-star about his daughter, Misha, born in August 2016, and Kareena's soon-to-arrive baby, Taimur Ali Khan, born in December 2016.

They both dated in 2004, but after nearly three years together, they parted ways in 2007.

Since their breakup, Shahid and Kareena haven't acted together, except in the 2016 film Udta Punjab, where they didn't share any scenes.
