Netflix dropped the trailer of Irish Wish starring Lindsay Lohan, and fans are over the moon with the "queen’s comeback."
The trailer for the new fantasy rom-com featured Lohan, 37, as Maddie, manifesting her dream wedding with the love of her life, but not without a slew of plot twists.
The video-on-demand streaming platform described the plot of the upcoming venture, "When the love of her life gets engaged to her best friend, Maddie puts her feelings aside to be a bridesmaid at their wedding in Ireland."
"Until a spontaneous wish for true love causes her to wake up as the bride-to-be. But as her dream gets closer to coming true, Maddie realizes that her real soulmate is someone else entirely," they added, creating curiosity towards the storyline.
Soon after the trailer was released, fans rallied to express their excitement over several social media platforms.
One user gushed over the theme, "This movie looks like it was done perfectly!! It's giving me early 2000s rom-com vibes!! I can't wait!! [red heart emoji]".
Referring to the Mean Girl star, a second fan commented, "The Queen is back."
Lohan’s second Netflix original series, set to stream on March 15, starred Ed Speleers, Jane Seymour, Ayesha Curry, Elizabeth Tan and Alexander Vlahos.
