Dakota Johnson plans to watch her movie 'someday' amid negative reviews
'Madame Web' starring Dakota Johnson receives negative reviews from critics
It appears that Dakota Johnson has no plans to see her new film.
The Fifty Shades of Grey actress recently disclosed the reason she did not watch Madame Web, despite her most recent superhero movie supposedly receiving bad ratings from critics.
Talking about her movie on Magic FM, the actress told the host, “I don’t know when I’ll see it.”
She went on to simply add, “Someday.”
The 34-year-old actress did not hold back when discussing her alleged absence from the Madame Web launch in order "to go have dinner."
Explaining her decision, Dakota remarked, “For me, it’s a way to not have, like, an existential crisis.”
“Not watching my movies is like self-care,” she insisted.
After sharing this "self-care tip," she went on to discuss another similar habit and asserted that she never "Googles" herself before stepping down from the discussion.
Following her statement to L'Officiel that "people are just so afraid" in Hollywood, Dakota made these admissions.
“And I’m like, ‘Why? What’s going to happen if you do something brave?’ It just feels like nobody knows what to do, and everyone’s afraid,” she even expressed.
In conclusion, she maintained, “That’s what it feels like. Everyone who makes decisions is afraid. They want to do the safe thing, and the safe thing is really boring.”
