Prince William quashes of hopes of reconciliation with Prince Harry

Prince Harry did not expect the cold shoulder he received from his elder brother Prince William during his return to the UK earlier this month.

The Duke of Sussex dashed to his home country afer King Charles personally informed him of his diagnosis with cancer soon after announcing it to the public.

Harry was understood to have had a meeting with his father for more or less 30 minutes at Clarence House, after which he shortly left to join his wife Meghan Markle and their two kids in the US.

The Spare author notably skipped out on visiting William and his ailing sister-in-law Kate Middleton who underwent abdominal surgery last month.

Speaking to Fox News Digital, royal expert Christopher Andersen shared, "Harry was clearly unprepared for the chilly reception he got from his … brother when he flew to London to check in on the king.”

"It should have been a time for reconciliation, but clearly … [Prince] William [wasn't] in the least bit interested," he explained. "For Harry, it was a stinging rebuke.”

The King author continued: “Of course, [the Duke and Duchess of Sussex] will always be closely monitoring the king’s medical condition, but my guess is that Harry and Meghan will now redouble efforts to establish their brand entirely separate from the royal family."
