Katrina Kaif, who has been garnering praise for her incredible performance in her newly released film Merry Christmas, recently admitted that she feels delighted as her movie "resonated with the audiences."
In conversation with Pinkvilla, the Bollywood diva shared she feels relieved after hearing positive reviews about her latest project as "there was a certain risk element involved with this film."
She continued, "Even though I try not to see decisions like that, I feel there's just a lot of happiness and a peaceful feeling that the film has landed, and has resonated with people who have seen the film and those who have reviewed it."
Kaif further said that as an actor and performer, she wanted to be a part of this "incredible story."
Speaking of her character, the Jab Tak Hai Jaan actress shared, "I found the material extremely interesting and challenging, and I think at this point of my life, I'm able to draw on life experiences, which reflects in my work and brings more humanity to the character."
"Right now, I am just feeling a lot of gratitude and a lot of joy that the film has landed and has resonated with the audiences," Kaif added.
The mystery movie also features Vijay Sethupati alongside Kaif.
Directed by critically acclaimed Sriram Raghavan, Merry Christmas hit big screens on January 12, 2024.
