Ranbir Kapoor joins forces with director Rajkumar Hirani once again: Report

Rajkumar Hirani recently revealed that he has been in touch with Ranbir Kapoor for a new project.

The critically acclaimed filmmaker previously worked with Kapoor in 2018 on Sanjay Dutt's biopic Sanju. 

In conversation with India Today, Hirani said, "Ranbir is an absolute sweetheart. We had a great time making Sanju. I would definitely love to do another film with him."

He continued, "There a few scripts with me and we are in touch. So let’s see where this goes."

While showering love on the Barfi actor, the director added, "Sometimes, it happens that you start writing a particular script and it doesn’t go anywhere and then you start another one and it becomes something."

Meanwhile, Kapoor is making headlines for his impeccable acting skills in his latest offering, Animal. 

The crime-action film, which stars Kapoor as an alpha male character, broke records at the global box office. 

The story of the movie revolves around a troubled relationship between a father and his son, exceptionally portrayed by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir respectively. 

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, Animal also features Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri.
