Karan Johar revealed fans’ reaction to Deepika Padukone confession on his show ‘angered’ him
Karan Johar slammed trolls for criticizing Deepika Padukone for her candid confession about husband Ranveer Singh on Koffee With Karan Season 8.

The Kuch Kuch Hota Hai director went on to share his experience as a host, adding: “I think all three of us kind of came clean on so much of our emotional heft, so many of our feelings."
"I just want to put it out there that episode angered me, and the reaction angered me. I thought it was one of our best episodes," Johar admitted.
The filmmaker kicked off the latest season of the show by having the Bollywood couple on the couch in the first episode.
The Om Shanti Om actress reflected on her romance with Singh, revealing that she was commited to him 'in her mind' despite seeing other people.
KJo further emphasised on the couple being blatantly honest, noting it struck a chord with him.
The director regarded it as one of the best episodes that was filmed on the show.

“'Look at what's happening at your own home' () is what I wanted to tell them. I wanted to show them my [explative] middle finger. I am like, you know, just shut up," KJo sneered.
Karan highlighted that people, who put up random comments 'show' their upbringing and culture.
"They might be doing it to get likes," he concluded.
