PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa head Senator Mushtaq Ahmad Khan on Friday said that the JI youth wing would take out a “Karwan-e-Inqilab Road Caravan” from Chitral to Waziristan on August 6 as part of struggle for the rights of youths.

Speaking at a news conference in Peshawar Press Club, he said that the caravan would start from Chitral on August 6 and, after passing through all districts in the province, would reach Waziristan on August 13 and later move to Peshawar.

The JI youth provincial president Saddiqur Rehman Paracha, general secretary Hafeezullah Khaksar, vice-president Noor Ghulam Afridi, deputy general secretary Zubair Islahi, Qazi Momin afridi and Mushtaq Khalil were also present on the occasion.

He said JI chief Sirajul Haq and other leaders would address the meetings.

The JI senator said that PTI leaders had exploited the youths for political gains and did nothing for their welfare.

The rulers, he said, took U-turns on their commitments instead of providing education, jobs and social engagements to the youths. Similarly, he said, the negligence of rulers was producing an army of illiterates.

He observed that the youths were denied job opportunities and social engagement, which created an unrest and disappointment among them.

Mushtaq Ahmad Khan asked the youths to join together on the JI youth platform to fight for their rights.

He said the government had closed doors for youths in politics to pave the way for ATMs and parachuters.

Pakistan has been made subservient to FATF, he said, adding that the price-hike had also been imposed on the nation.
