MIRANSHAH: A man was killed during the ongoing clash between the two tribes in Zairki village in Mir Ali tehsil in North Waziristan tribal district.
Local sources said that a fierce clash had been continuing between the two tribes over a land dispute and both parties were using light and heavy weapons against each other from the last two days.
They said that a man, whose name could not be ascertained, had been killed in the fight so far.
The residents have demanded the infighting tribes and district administration to help end the clash as the continuous firing had put the lives of local populace in danger.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Shahid Ali said that they were not oblivious to the situation and had constituted a grand jirga to effect a ceasefire between the warring tribes.
