LAKKI MARWAT: Teachers and students of Government Post-graduate College held walk to create awareness about cleanliness in Lakki city on Saturday.
Led by principal Sharifullah Khan, the walk started from college building on Lakki-Tajazai road and ended at Qazi Ishfaq square. The participants carried banners and placards highlighting messages regarding importance of cleanliness.
On the occasion, the college’s principal said that the teachers and students of institution were observing cleanliness week with the aim to educate people on importance of cleanliness and keep the college clean and beautiful.
He said the college administration was planned to arrange different activities in connection with cleanliness week. He said that Islam emphasised upon cleanliness therefore all of us should ensure keeping our surroundings clean and free from
pollution.
