PESHAWAR: Litigants faced problems on Friday as lawyers boycotted courts across the province in protest against what they called indecent attitude of security forces towards judges of the superior courts.
The call for protest had been given by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Bar Council. Hearing in several cases had to be postponed due to the boycott.
The Peshawar High Court and other courts across the province wore a deserted look due to the protest.
The lawyers have demanded removal of unnecessary checkposts as many critical patients could even die waiting in the queues of vehicles at the pickets.
