BANNU: Around 130 more displaced families of Eidak Dawar tribe were sent back to their native areas in North Waziristan on Saturday.
Officials said that 130 families comprising of 650 individuals, including 225 women, 233 children and 192 men were sent back from Mirzail checkpost amid tight security to their native villages in North Waziristan.
The security forces personnel escorted the convoy of the returning tribespeople.
They said that each family was given Rs10,000 as transport expenses, Rs25,000 of automated teller machine card and other relief goods.
The government has started the second phase of return of uprooted families of Eidak Dawar tribe to the areas cleared after the Zarb-e-Azb military operation in North Waziristan.
