PESHAWAR: The trader community from North Waziristan Agency (NWA) on Monday urged the government to meet their demands or else they would launch a protest drive for the rights. The traders and shopkeepers, who had come from different parts of the North Waziristan Agency, set up a protest camp outside the Peshawar Press Club and staged a sit-in.The representatives of the traders said that their businesses were destroyed during the militancy and military operations but the government was yet to compensate them for the losses.They urged the government to provide compensation or else their movement for the rights would be expanded.
