DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Unidentified persons lobbed a hand-grenade at the house of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Revenue Ali Amin Gandapur in the limits of Cantonment Police Station, official sources said on Tuesday.
“The hand-grenade was hurled at the house of the provincial minister at 8 am. It fell on the roof but didn’t cause any human or material loss,” an official said. The blast created a crater on the roof, he added.
The minister Ali Amin Gandapur, who belongs to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and is said to be close to party chief Imran Khan, was not present at his home at the time of the attack.The police officials said they had started investigating the incident.
