PESHAWAR: The Inspector general of police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the light of departmental enquiry report has dismissed Ex-OSI of the Frontier Reserve Police from service with immediate effect.
A Reserve Inspector (RI) and two sub inspectors of the FRP were dismissed from service recently while Deputy Commandant FRP was given charge sheet. A report was sent to the provincial government for further action against the deputy commandant in illegal recruitment of 378 candidates in the light of the departmental inquiry report.
In this case, an inquiry against ASI Muhammad Ibrar was in process. The departmental inquiry completed the process on Monday and submitted its report to IGP.
Besides recruitment of 378 candidates in FRP recruitment in 2013, the allegations of recruitment of 169 candidates through un-notified committee and his involvement in the process of transfer of 37 constables to FRP Kohat for allotment of constabulary numbers for his ulterior motive also proved against him in the report.
The IGP in light of the departmental inquiry report dismissed the then OSI FRP ASI Muhammad Ibrar from service and issued notification in this connection.
