Presley Gerber’s ex Lexi Wood breaks silence after his tragic death

Presley Gerber’s ex-girlfriend Lexi Wood is mourning the loss of the late model "who was such a meaningful part" of her life.

The 28-year-old Summer House alum took to her Instagram account on Tuesday and posted a series of throwback pictures and videos with the late Presley when the duo was dating.

Lexi began her tribute, “It’s hard to put into words what it means to lose someone who was such a meaningful part of my life for so many years.”

“Through every chapter and every version of our relationship, friendship was always at the core of it.”

She remarked that people who were close to Presley called him “one of the kindest, most open, loving and courageous people.”

“He loved so deeply, so purely, was incredibly romantic and thoughtful,” Lexi added.

Reflecting on the struggles Presley was facing, including mental health and addiction, she added, “He fought so hard for his life and he was brave enough to be open about that fight.

“More than anything, he wanted to use his story to help other people, and he did.”

Lexi concluded her caption expressing her gratitude that she feels fortunate to have shared “so many years of friendship, so many memories and so much love with him.”

"He will always hold such a special place in my heart, and we will all miss him forever."

Presley Gerber passed away due to an apparent overdose and cardiac arrest on September 20.

A source told People, Presley's mother Cindy Crawford is "heartbroken" and "completely in shock" over his "devastating death."
