Prince Harry's first official UK engagements after return finally come to light

Prince Harry’s first official UK engagements after returning to his home country have been laid bare.

The 41-year-old duke is set to attend the first Invictus Spirit Awards and the annual WellChild Awards, as per Hello.

The WellChild Awards will take place in London on September 21, 2026.

At the first Invictus Spirit Awards, individuals, organizations and communities that show the “resilience, service and unconquered spirit” at the heart of the Invictus Movement will receive the homage.

Moreover, Harry will also attend the launch of the Invictus education programme INSPIRE.

Harry also shared his excitement about attending the WellChild Awards, in a statement, reading, “It is always a privilege to be part of the WellChild Awards and to meet the extraordinary children, young people, families and professionals whose courage and determination inspire us all."

"This year feels particularly special as we celebrate 20 years of the WellChild Nurse programme; two decades of supporting thousands of children and families and helping them to live more of their lives at home. These Awards are a wonderful opportunity to celebrate that impact, but above all to celebrate the incredible people at the heart of it. Their stories are a powerful reminder of what can be achieved through compassion, connection and community," it continued.

For those who are unaware of Harry and his wife Meghan Markle's recent move, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex returned to the UK during the last week of August 2026 after living six years in the US.

The royal couple's two children, Prince Archie, seven, and Princess Lilibet, five, have also returned to the UK and have officially kickstarted their school.
