Meghan Markle, Harry's major critic 'very pleased' as Duke faces latest blow

Angela Levin, a royal expert and major critic of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, has expressed her true feelings after the Duke dealt a major blow.

Uganda’s military chief has announced that his country will withdraw from Harry’s Invictus Games, saying it will not participate in an event without the approval of the King.

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of the Ugandan president and head of the country’s armed forces, made the announcement in a post on X.

“In order not to be construed as being opposed to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, whom we deeply revere, Uganda hereby withdraws from the Invictus Games,” Kainerugaba, 52, said. “We shall not participate in anything that does not have His Majesty’s approval.”

The fresh blow to Harry and Meghan comes two days after King Charles confirmed that the Duke and Duchess were not working members of the royal family and were not entitled to use their HRH titles.

Royal expert Kate Mansey took to X, formerly Twitter handle, and shared her Times story saying “New: Uganda pulls out of Invictus Games amid ‘Harry-Meghan nonsense’”

Commenting on it, royal expert Angela Levin said, “Very pleased that is happening. Hope more countries do the same.”

Meanwhile, the sources close to Meghan and Harry have blamed Uganda’s decision on the King’s letter saying that they are private citizens.

A source close to the couple told ITV: “Intended or unintended, this is clearly a consequence of the Lord Chamberlain’s guidance regarding the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, that was rushed out without consultation on Monday.”
