'Pretty anxious': Prince Harry, Meghan Markle 'genuinely a risk' for Princess Eugenie?

The royal insiders have revealed although Princess Eugenie, who was once very close to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, really care about the Duchess, but she does not align publicly with them.

The close confidant has disclosed the real reason to Heat World after King Charles letter to clarify Meghan and Harry’s status.

“It’s hard to have a private relationship with Meghan, there are always people watching, and Meghan also likes to put things on social media,” the source said and added, “Eugenie does really care about Meghan and she wants to be supportive, but she also has to think of her own standing and she’s on thin ice right now thanks to her parents.”

Sarah and Andrew’s younger daughter is in a ‘very tough spot’ but for her own survival she needs to preserve her relationship with the royals, the insider said.

They added Eugenie is ‘pretty anxious’ about upsetting King Charles and Prince William.

Also, Eugenie may be ‘acutely aware’ that being seen too publicly alongside Meghan and Harry could be interpreted as taking sides.

“Meghan is very unpopular in the social circles that Eugenie and Jack move in, there’s no doubt that will be weighing on Eugenie’s mind,” the sources continued.

Another royal source claimed to align publicly with Harry and Meghan is ‘genuinely a risk’ because it would be seen as making a statement and essentially siding against the future King.
