Prince Harry missing from Invictus Games anniversary video

Prince Harry’s Invictus Games Foundation on Thursday released a video to mark its 12th anniversary.

The anniversary coincided with the World Suicide Prevention Day and a statement issued by the charity said, “we also remember members of our community we have lost over the years, while recognising the impact that sport, connection and the Invictus Spirit can have on those who are struggling."

Interestingly, the video posted on the official Instagram account of Invictus Games did not feature Prince Harry.

The statement said, “The Invictus Games London 2014 turns 12 today, and we love looking back at an event filled with so many iconic moments, when the city of London came together to support the Invictus Community at such a pivotal moment.”

It added, “The Invictus Games are about Changing Lives and Saving Lives through the power of sport, and we are honoured to continue that work today, using sport and adventurous challenge to support recovery and rehabilitation for wounded, injured and sick service personnel and veterans.”
