The iPhone 18 Pro models feature Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and what the company says is the longest battery life ever offered in an iPhone
Apple has unveiled its new iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, bringing upgraded performance, battery life and new colour options to its flagship smartphone line.
The company announced the devices at its product event on Wednesday, saying the phones will be available in deep black, silver, glacier and burgundy, with colour-matched back glass.
The iPhone 18 Pro models feature Apple’s new A20 Pro chip and what the company says is the longest battery life ever offered in an iPhone.
“We made massive advancements in the most important areas: intelligence, performance, battery, and camera,” Apple executive John Ternus said.
The new devices largely retain the design introduced with the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max in 2025.
That redesign replaced the titanium body with aluminium and introduced a vapour chamber designed to keep the device cool.
Apple also added a camera bar across the back, which it calls the “plateau”.
The previous generation also introduced an 18-megapixel Center Stage front camera, allowing users to capture wider selfies while holding the phone vertically.
The iPhone 18 Pro Max offers the same key upgrades as the Pro model in a larger size.
