Travis Kelce breaks silence on his ‘magical’ wedding to Taylor Swift

Inside Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift’s sensational wedding.

In a recent episode of the New Heights podcast with Jason Kelce, the NFL star looked back at his wedding with Taylor and called it a “very magical night.”

“It’s a night out we’ll never forget.”

He further opened up about the magical evening and unforgettable moments, “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that, kind of be relayed through everybody’s stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man.”

Adding, “I wish it could have lasted even longer than it did. It felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye.”

Travis’s brother, who was also the host, chimed in, “They kicked us out.”

Taylor’s husband went on to explain, “Well, once the drinks stopped being served, everyone kinda just starts to, you know, mosey out.”

It is worth noting here that the newlyweds tied the knot on July 3, 2026, at Madison Square Garden, New York City.

Travis shared that they wanted an intimate and private wedding. “We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. And we needed it to be a private feel,”

Noting, “And MSG went above and beyond to give us that.”

As the Hollywood comedian Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, Travis said, “I can’t say thank you to everyone without [giving] a special thank you to the Adam Sandler.”

“He has been just the f---ing best person on this planet. And for him to be up for getting ordained in the state of New York and marrying me and Taylor in the way he did, in the very, you know, Sandman style and giving us more than we could have ever imagined in that moment, knowing that, it was the biggest night of both of our lives. It was, it was absolutely insane, man,” the football star added.

Reflecting on the wedding’s phone-free setting, Travis recalled, “It was so cool to see how everybody interacted, and with no phones comes people not having to be on guard and feel that whatever that feeling is for everyone.”

“It makes everyone be in the moment and be present. And it was it was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood, not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood and her family and friends and people that she works with, to who we’ve come in counter with over our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now,” the 36-year-old athlete further added.
