Prince William, Kate Middleton send clear message to Harry and Meghan after UK return

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly not in any rush to repair their relationship with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle after their UK return.

As Sussexes relocated their family to Britain for an extended period after more than six years in California. They arrived on August 26 with their children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

While an insider previously told People Magazine that the Duke of Sussex's return could be "best opportunity" in years to heal his relationship with the Prince of Wales, another source just told the outlet that the Wales is deliberately avoiding any sudden reaction.

"They are watching this space. It’s private — they don’t feel the need to say anything or demonstrate anything outwardly," the source said. "will be a slow build. There is a deep sense of betrayal."

Prince Harry and Prince William's relationship has reportedly remained strained for years, with one insider recently telling the outlet that there has been "no movement" and "no contact" between them.

Harry has previously expressed his desire to repair relations with his family, saying in 2025 that he would “love reconciliation” with them. His relationship with his father, King Charles, has shown some signs of progress. Harry, Meghan and their children met Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House in July, marking the first time in four years that the King had seen Meghan, Archie and Lilibet.
