Meghan Markle, Harry land in new trouble at Montecito mansion as warning issued

Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle have received a stark warning about danger at their Montecito mansion.

According to a report by the Hello, Archie and Lilibet doting parents sprawling family home in Montecito could be affected by extreme weather conditions when summer ends, they have been warned.

The region has previously been subject to extreme weather including significant mudslides causing evacuations.

The experts are worried that once the summer season is over and rains fall again, more floods could be on their way. The worry centres around San Ysidro Creek, which is very close to the royal couple’s gated community.

Previously, the mudslides have affected former Montecito resident Ellen DeGeneres who was once forced to evacuate her own property due to the flooding and landslides in the area.

The outlet also quoted Terry Cunningham, the millionaire businessman who built Harry and Meghan's home, as saying it took him four years to meticulously build the residence, but he has since admitted he didn't consider the weather threats of the area.

The warning has come amid reports Prince Harry and Meghan have been invited by King Charles to Balmoral for summer holidays.

Harry is also expected to return to Britain next month for Wellchild awards.
