Inside Prince William and Prince Harry's possible reunion
The two old friends of Prince Harry and Prince William, Charlie van Straubenzee and Thomas van Straubenzee, could possibly build a bridge between the two estranged brothers. While Thomas is close to the Prince of Wales, his brother Charlie is closer to Prince Harry.
Speaking with the Daily Mail, a royal commentator, Richard Fitzwilliams, shared that “The van Straubenzee brothers could pull off the most extraordinary feat if they joined forces to bring William and Harry together.”
“What makes the brothers ideal is that, apart from being close to both of them, Thomas is especially close to William and Charlie to Harry,” Richard added.
Notably, the two brothers are close to Prince William and Prince Harry from a really young age and also attended the same school, Ludgrove Prep School.
Marking their close friendship, Charlie attended the Duke of Sussex and Meghan Markle’s wedding in 2018 and also gave a heartfelt speech.
However, in 2020, the Royal Sussexes stepped down from their royal duties and eventually left their hometown, but Charlie was reportedly in contact with Prince Harry even after the prince moved to the United States, California, and also made a visit to him in 2022, were seen riding bicycles together.
Now that Prince Harry has come back to the UK along with his family for an “extended stay,” it is said that the royal brothers’ three-decade-old friends could help to repair the strained relationship between William and Harry.
