Meghan Markle is 'worried' that they are degrading themselves by caving into all of this censorship
Meghan Markle has reportedly left her husband Prince Harry ‘frustrated’ following their return to California from Britain, where they reunited with King Charles.
The palace source has described King Charles meeting with Harry, Meghan and their children as a 'private family occasion' and said no pictures, video or further details would be released.
The Closer has reported that not being allowed to take photos or post anything about the visit was “especially insulting, and it still really stings”.
The insiders told the publication, “Meghan accepts that they need to stay in the royals’ good graces, especially when it comes to his father, and that it means a lot to Harry for her to be a part of this relationship rebuild.
“But she’s worried that they’re degrading themselves by caving into all of this censorship, which means they’re essentially muzzled or backed into a corner where they have no voice or right to express themselves in their own way.”
Meanwhile, Harry has been trying to assure Meghan that “this [being in hiding] was just a one-off and that, eventually, they’ll work out a compromise [with security] as well as other matters like posting photos. But they needed to take this big step back in order to move forward.”
The Duke, insiders said, is encouraging Meghan to really embrace the spirit of forgiveness and show love in the way she does best – by sending hampers of jam.
The close confidant claimed Harry wants his wife to send family photos, gift baskets and ‘keep the dialogue going’ the way she was before the visit, but the Duchess is just not feeling motivated, which is “pretty frustrating for him, to say the least.”
