King Charles has reportedly taken a tougher stance towards his brother “disgraced” brother Andrew, who now goes by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor.
According to a US-based entertainment site, tensions have risen inside palace as the former Duke of York makes new demands for his new home on the Sandringham estate.
A source said that Charles is growing frustrated with Andrew’s requests for expensive renovations, furnishings and even moving items like curtains from his old residence, the Royal Lodge, at Charles’ expense.
Speaking with the publication, a palace source said, "Charles is on the verge of banishing Andrew into a caravan if he doesn't stop making demands about his new home - that is how strained things have become."
"The King is angry and increasingly unwilling to fund what are seen as excessive requests, particularly given the circumstances that led to Andrew's removal from Royal Lodge,” the royal tipster added.
Another source shared that this time “the warning about a caravan is being taken seriously behind the scenes - it reflects a hardening attitude from the King that enough is enough."
This comes after Andrew was ordered to leave the 30-room royal mansion due to his past association with convicted sex offender, Jeffrey Epstein.
