Elon Musk has made a significant appearance at the World Economic Forum, discussing the various aspects related to robots, artificial intelligence, tesla, and the future of human civilization.
In a conversation with BlackRock CEO Larry Fink, the founder of xAI has outlined a vision, aiming to save and maximize civilization’s future as he called human life a fragile candle in vast darkness.
The 54-year-old billionaire said, “The overall goal of my companies is to maximize the future of civilization, like basically maximize the probability that civilization has a great future and to expand consciousness beyond Earth.”
Having united Tesla, SpaceX, and xAI under goal, Musk continued, “SpaceX, for example, is about advancing rocket technology to the point where we can extend life and consciousness beyond Earth to the Moon to Mars, eventually to other star systems.”
“And I think we should always view consciousness, life as we know it, as precarious & delicate, because to the best of our knowledge we don’t know of life anywhere else,” SpaceX CEO added.
According to Musk, the technologies on which he is working are meant to protect humanity and civilization from being extinguished.
Besides, the future of civilization, Musk also talked about the robot-saturated future in which they will actually saturate all human needs, meaning humans won't be able to even think of something to ask the robot for at a certain point, like there will be such an abundance of goods and services.
