Zayn Malik reveals why he collaborated with Blackpink's Jisoo for 'eyes closed'

Zayn Malik has revealed that his daughter, Khai, is a big reason why he teamed up with BLACKPINK‘s Jisoo for the soulful track, Eyes Closed.

In a new interview with SiriusXM’s The Pulse, the English crooner said that his daughter is a big fan of the K-pop singers.

“She’s into TWICE. She’s into BLACKPINK, and that was kind of, you know, a big reason behind why I did the feature with Jisoo, if I’m being honest, because my daughter’s such a big fan, and I wanted to be cool, you know,” dished Zayn.

“I got some good dad points for that, so yeah. For sure. She loves it. Yeah, I’m always thinking about her when I’m making my music, and she loves singing and dancing too," added the 33-year-old singer.

Zayn also shared that his daughter enjoys his music and often gives feedback.

"I don’t want to play to her because obviously there’s cuss words and stuff in there, concepts a bit adult, but she loves my music and she definitely gives me an opinion,” shared the Kiss You crooner.

It is worth noting that Zayn is currently promoting her upcoming fifth studio album, KONNAKOL.
