BANNU: Around 22,304 students passed examination as the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bannu, announced the results of the intermediate and secondary education on Thursday.
Javeria Shah of the pre-medical group of the Government Postgraduate College, Bannu, topped the examination with 979 marks.
Syed Usman Zaheer, pre-medical, Government Degree College No-II got 978 marks and Sehrish Gul, pre-medical, Government Degree College Mandan 976 marks and secured third position. In the pre-engineering group, Muhammad Sufian of the Government Degree College No-II got 960 marks, Shabir Ahmed got 955 marks and Muhammad Asif obtained 948 marks.
In the arts group, Khadija Rehmat of the Government Postgraduate College stood first with 892 marks, Zaada Ali of the Government Higher Secondary School got 887 marks and Ismail of the Government Postgraduate College obtained 868 marks.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Member Provincial Assembly Zarin Zia was the chief guest at the shields and certificates distribution ceremony at the BISE office. Students and parents of the position holders and educationists were also present on the occasion.
