CHITRAL: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Member of the National Assembly Ghazala Anjum on Thursday said that the development projects in the district would be completed.

Speaking to party workers and local media at her residence, she said that after 2008, both the country and Chitral were pushed into decline as development projects were halted. She added that Pakistan, once progressing rapidly, was dragged backwards, but the PMLN government saved the nation from bankruptcy. “Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, with his political foresight, rescued the country’s sinking economy,” she said.

She also mentioned that the federal government was seriously considering the strategic importance of the Mastuj- Broghil road, while continuous funding was being provided for the Booni-Buzund road through the provincial government.Earlier, she was given a warm welcome on her arrival in Chitral, as party workers and locals greeted her from Lowari Tunnel to Chitral town.
