Elizabeth Gillies reviews Ariana Grande's Wicked sequel in emotional note

Ariana Grande’s co-star from Victorious, Elizabeth Gillies recently got a chance to watch Wicked: For Good and it moved her to tears.

Taking it to her Instagram story, Gillies paid an emotional tribute to Grande on her outstanding performance in the Jon M. Chu film.

The 32-year-old shared the latest social media post of the 7 Rings singer, which had a carousel of images from the Wicked press tour.

Beneath the post, she wrote a heartwarming note for Ariana expressing how her film made her cry.

Elizabeth wrote, “Just wait until you see Ari this movie I was in tear (yes, singular. It’s a big deal – I don’t cry) within the first 10 minutes. Her performance in this film is so raw. It grabs you right away and doesn’t let you go.”

“So heartbreaking, so nuanced, so funny – her expert level ability to toggle the audience between laughter and tears is a superpower. She and Cynthia are magic together – their chemistry is unmatched and their vocals are otherworldly”, she continued.

The Dynasty actress further revealed that she can’t remember the last time she saw an epic film as Wicked: For Good.

“I can’t remember the last time I saw a film this epic and visually stunning. Probably the first Wicked.”

Gillies concluded the note by writing, “Anyway, Ari – I love you. Congratulations on this momentous achievement.”

Ariana and Cynthia Erivo starrer is slated to release on November 21.
