Ben Stiller has recently dished out major announcement about Severance Season 3.
During his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the American actor and movie-maker shares exciting details about one of Apple TV+’s most anticipated sci-fi series,
“It’s coming…There will be another season. It will be soon-ish,” reveals the 59-year-old.
Ben’s comments came months after the season two’s finale aired on March 21, 2025.
Zoolander actor shares the real reason behind the long gaps between seasons, saying that the team has produced “19 episodes over five and a half years” and mentions, “Young Sheldon’s done 600 episodes in that time”.
Ben points out that the delays between seasons one and two were linked to the 2023 WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
Night At the Museum actor also confirms that he will not direct season three as he wants to focus on other projects, including a World War II movie and the latest installment of Meet the Parents.
Patricia Arquette, who plays Harmony, previously talked about Ben’s exit from the director’s chair.
She told ScreenRant, “Well, I am not thrilled with that, I’m going to say. I’m not happy about it… I’m not down. I’m going to get him back for Season 3.”
Meanwhile, Ben added that a new team of directors will reportedly be joining season three.
